Footnotes & Fillings

Music is interesting and very much enchanting. Words woven with notes, or notes woven with words, or just the notes themselves can tickle your heart and bring about a multitude of feelings. It can touch your mind and launch a thousand memories, even relive a long-forgotten dream.

The Gunman Did it Fast, Thinking He had My Family Killed

Something not to be missed.

Key to the Locked Book

When I got baptized, they said, “Poor you! The devil won you over! The devil snatched you! Oh, what has happened to you? What a waste!”

By Larry Erfilo, D’X-Man

I am a former member of the Iglesia ni Cristo. I stayed with that group from 1970 until 2003 – that is 33 years to be exact. With the Central office, I stayed from 1984 to 2001. That means I stayed with the Central Office in Diliman for 17 years. My parents were deacon and deaconess. We grew old there, and that is where they died. My father conducted indoctrinations as a volunteer.

As for me, I am a “handog.” I had no particular assignment in the Church. I say Church because my functions at the Central were different. Aside from being a church member, I also became a deacon – but only for one day.

I had undergone…

From East to West: the Sun of Righteousness

esoriano

There are things physical that are collateral with things spiritual in the vast wisdom of God in the Scriptures. The Greek word used is “πολυποίκιλος”polupoikilos, which simply means diverse, multifarious, variegated.

EPHESIANS 3:10

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

This wisdom was manifest from the simplest to the most intricate forms of creation!

PSALMS 104:24

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

Physicists may in one way or the other appreciate and understand such wisdom from the physical side of creation but unfortunately most of them do not consider the spiritual.

COLOSSIANS 1:16
